Laminate Floor Repair
FloorFil is used to repair small nicks and gouges (1/4” in diameter or smaller) in High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) flooring. HPL is a decoratively laminated plastic sheet typically used on countertops and flooring and is the most commonly used type of laminate found in the kitchen and bath industry. FloorFil’s standard color line offers 6 standard colors or it may be custom color matched to a customer’s needs.
FloorFil is a user-friendly product that may quickly and easily fix damaged areas or fill seams found on a laminate surface. This product dries fast and is easy to clean up using FF-99 solvent, which is specifically designed to be used in conjunction with FloorFil. FloorFil laminate repair bonds to the substrate of laminate and dries hard, becoming a permanent part of the laminate surface. FloorFil resists moisture, detergents, and other household products in a similar manner to the original laminate. Common applications for this product are repairing surface damage caused by tools or any heavy, sharp object accidentally dropped on the floor surface. FloorFil can also be used to repair damaged edges and broken corners of flooring surfaces. When properly used, FloorFil laminate repair will hide damages for many years.
