SeamFil Laminate Repair Paste

The “original” laminate repair solution. SeamFil has been used to repair small nicks and gouges (1/4” in diameter or smaller) in laminate surfaces commonly found in kitchens and bathrooms for over 60 years. This product is also designed to be used to fill seams between sheets of laminate, as its name implies. SeamFil’s standard color line offers 20 standard colors or it may be custom color matched to a customer’s needs. Kampel’s color-matching capabilities with SeamFil can be catered to customer needs and can meet almost any color requirement.

SeamFil is a user-friendly product that may quickly and easily fix damaged areas or fill seams found on a laminate surface. This product cures fast and is easy to clean up using SF-99 solvent, which is specifically designed to be used in conjunction with SeamFil. SeamFil laminate repair bonds to the substrate of laminate and dries hard, becoming a permanent part of the laminate surface. SeamFil resists moisture, detergents, and other household products in a similar manner to the original laminate. Common applications for this product include filling standard joints, cracks and chips on laminate countertops and furniture where the laminate’s substrate is visible. When properly used, SeamFil laminate repair will hide damages for many years.

SeamFil color matching guides are also available here on the website. These guides provide mixing proportions that allow users to create a variety of laminate colors offered by major laminate manufacturers such as Formica, Wilsonart, Nevamar, and Pionite. For high-gloss surfaces, mix SeamFil Clear Gloss into your SeamFil color or apply Clear Gloss on top of SeamFil after the repair has cured.
